Christmas Morning!

Santa stopped by and left some awesome gifts! Our favorite was the Elmo laptop

After we opened Santa gifts we headed down to Nana and Grandpa's house for breakfast and more presents! It was so much fun. Here is he is with Aidan and Jen after they opened all their new stuff!

Christmas was a lot of fun! And so many cool new toys to play with!!!

Christmas Eve

Santa Claus paid a visit to Jeff and Sharon's house!! ;)This is what happens when we see Santa! He doesn't want to look.We sat him on Santa's lap, but he was none too pleased about that!!!

Uncle Joe even wheeled in the coolest Hot wheel bike but he wasn't having any part of it! Not until Santa left! And then he grabbed his binky out of his mouth and said beep beep through his tears! His cousin Jack helped him out on his first ride! It's a little big but we love it!!

Then it was time to go home. He hammed it up for these pictures!

Playdate!

Ilaria Dell A'batte came over for a playdate the Saturday before Christmas. They had a lot of fun playing with toys and having lunch. Here is a picture from the table!

Santa Claus

Today after Church there was a pancake breakfast and Santa came to visit. He walked right past us and Nate let out such a scream of sheer terror. Then we decided to go sit for a picture even though we had planned on going to Stonestown to see Santa there. Nate was so freaked out. He sheepishly waved to Santa but then roared the closer we got. He cried until the picture was done. Then he waved goodbye again. It was classic.

We went to the mall after his nap. He was waiting fairly patiently for Nate. He was busy playing with the straps on his stroller since he long lost interest in sitting in it! As soon as we got closer to Santa and figured out what was up, he was in my arms with the tighest grip. It was priceless. These are the pictures we got. He does not even like looking at them!!!

Visit to the Zoo

We took Nate to the zoo again yesterday. This time was a bit more fun for him. We wanted to see the lion feeding but we got there a bit late - well the line was huge to get in! We did get to see 2 lions fighting over a box. The male lion thought the female had food and wanted in on it! What was happening was the Tiger in the other cage wouldn't come out and the lion was smelling his food. Nate didn't flinch though when they were roaring! I didn't get great pictures because my battery died.
He also went on the Carousel for the first time. He did not like it...at first. I had to take him off until the ride was getting ready to start.
Then he was so upset we had to get off.
After the carousel, we went over the the Children's zoo. He was a little freaked out by the sheep and the goats roaming around. He played with the tractor for a bit...
Then he found the ducks...
Then as I was taking his picture, he decided to join the ducks!!I caught him just in time before he fell in! It was a fun day!

Nate had a lot of fun tonight. He loved looking at all the kids at the door. He was taking the candy out of his bag before we would leave a house. Here are our pictures of the night...

Our Business Man...

I had to share this picture...This is one of my favorite outfits Nate has...He really looks like a little man....

Halloween Party

The Irish Cultural Center had a Halloween party today - and what fun we had. There were games and snacks and JUMPIES!!!!!

Nate went as a Star Wars Storm Trooper (thanks Uncle Jeff) and he loved running around and playing with all the other kids...Here he is with Aidan McVeigh dressed as "Woody"

After the party upstairs, we went downstairs with Steve Goulding and Nancy Callahan and met Grandma and Papa Porter for dinner. We had a great time. The Baglins and the Sheridans were there for dinner as well and Nate had so much fun playing with the kids...especially Maura!!

Festival

This weekend we went to the St. Cecilia's festival. They had lots of great slides and bouncies if you were a much older boy!!! But we found a mini bouncy for mini people! Nate loved it. When we would take him out so others could have a chance, he would cry and cry. He waited fairly patiently for another turn. But we found that after the second time of playing in the bouncy, he was ready to come out!!!

Have you seen this guy!! :)

Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we went up to the Russian River. We wanted to go back to the Pumpkin Patch we went to last year. http://www.muelrathspumpkins.com/index.html in Sebastopol. They have a really neat set up and it's right there on their farm. We also picked up some acorn and butternut squash. Nate had so much fun running around. He wasn't too keen on the Hay or the corn maze. We didn't dare take him into the Hay tunnel since Jim tried that last year and got freaked out!!! We missed the Hay ride this year but next year we plan on doing that! Here are some pictures!

Las Vegas

We spent 3 days in Las Vegas in September. Nate had a rough time on the airplane going down. Jim and I were not sitting next to each other and the seats never seemed so tight! Fortunately the flight was only a little over an hour. We got to our hotel and learned we couldn't check in until 11:00. He had fallen asleep in his stroller. Once we got to our room, he was in heaven. So much fun. There were 2 bathrooms and he was running back and forth. He also loved to look out the window at all the cars! While there he went to Build-a-bear, Circus Circus and FAO Schwartz!

Playing with daddy in the hotel room
On our second day there we headed over to Circus Circus. He played on the cars and ran around. He also got some new buddies...

He loved looking out the window and checking out all the cars 23 floors below!
On our last day, Nate and I went to FAO Schwartz in Ceasars Palace. He said "Hi" to all the toys. He didn't want to leave!

He enjoyed watching the Gondola ride at the Venetian while we waited for Jim to finish his meeting...
